Do you know how to fix your Facebook feed back to normal since the big chnage over a few weeks back? Well I want to put this out there ust in case because I see many pople still don’t know how.

When you log into Facebook and are taken to your home page, look up at the status update box area. Right below that area and a bit to the left you will see a drop down menu with the word “Sort” as shown and highlighted in the picture below

Click that sort button and a drop down menu with two choices will come up. One will say “Highlighted Stories” and the other will say “Most Recent.”

Click on “Recent Stories First” so that it is checkmarked. Your page will refresh and you’ll now see your newsfeed ALMOST the same way it used to be.

Now i have noticed i will ahev to do this every few days it doesn’ “stick” as Facebook will switch it back to highlighted stories.

One more thing. On the new Facebook, whenever you add someone as a friend, you are automatically subscribed to ALL their updates. This means photos, likes, shares, uploads, status updates and more.

I don’t know about you, but I have people on my friends list who share photos and things ALL OF THE TIME. I love them to death but i swear some days I want to say GET A LIFE! With the way the new Facebook is set up, if these people are flooding your newsfeed, you WON’T see the updates from the people and pages that you DO want to see.

So how to fix that?

Here is how. When you add a new friend (or get tired of the wall flooding from an old one) click onto their profile. You will see a box called “Subscribed” on the right side of their page, right under their profile banner if they have the new time line.

Click and it will pop a menu down that will allow you to customize what you see or if you even see it at all.

If you unsubscribe to the ones that you DON’T want to see then you’ll see more of what you DO want to see.

Hope this helps!
